I have had a short visit to the ASB campus in Dec 2004 and I have seen a PGP student as a summer trainee from close. The quality of the campus infrastructure ( against the backdrop of the serene "Elephant" hills ) and the background of the faculty was a pleasant surprise and way beyond my expectations. Some of the full time Profs come from among the best business schools in the world like Berkeley, Wharton, Kellog, Cornell etc. The summer trainee would compare well with any from the best business schools in India.The differentiator would probably be in the humility and basic human values inculcated in these students. I believe that very soon Amrita Business School will achieve its due recognition and prominence amongst the top Indian Business Schools in line with its actual substance and potential.

"I had the opportunity to visit the Amrita School of Business in August 2004 for the first time. Maruti Udyog had actively participated in a MDP on Customer Satisfaction Management conducted by the B-School; wherein Mr. R. Ravi, GM, Network Development was a domain expert. "I visited the Amrita Business School in March 2004. Frankly, I had not heard much about the School; so it was with very little expectations that I entered the School. Four hours later I stepped out, quite pleasantly surprised to have seen in place some of the basics for a good management school. The quality of teaching faculty was indeed mind-boggling - people graduating from Schools like Kellogg, Wharton, the IIMs and the IITs were quite a surprise. The same was aptly complemented by managers from industry including all key sectors, with exposures to various fields.
